With a price tag attracting Chinese as crazy as Michael Jackson, how could you possibly justify owning this S$4888 arowana?

bit expensive for a fish – saying that if i had the money id probably buy it to show off
hey MJ, maybe you could fill a pond at Neverland with prize arowana? then you could go fishing, just like little boys do…
cool pic…exxy fish though !
hell yeah! and this was the cheap one due to the (although natural) grey scales. the S$6888 model had perfect iridescent reddish scales wrapping right over the top of its body.
This looks awesome. Did you do any special processing or is it the film you are using? The subdued contrast yet tack sharp picture give it a unique look. This could easily become your defining style. Its very different from what everyone else does.
no special processing other than a levels adjustment after the scan. i think the subdued contrast and sharpness are the prime features of fuji neopan 400. imo, it gives a fresher outlook over any digital black and white conversions that i can do. i think you’ve seen most of my shots on neopan but here’s a link to the ones i’ve posted online anyway:
i’m planning on spending a month in indonesia at the end of the year and will probably take a few rolls of this along again. i’ll watch out for xray machines next time though – i got one slightly damaged roll from borneo.
hahaha, killer title and photo! I hear Mike Tyson used to have a pond full of these too.
food for his white tigers?
im a fishkeeper and i can tell you those chinese are nothing but trouble, what have they done. Bred cancerous goldfish thats what, then they go saying that this frankly cool platinum coulored arowana isn’t red so it isn’t the best idiots. Amaizing picture though, great specimen.
if you are going for the flashy bling dragon look then i can understand iridescent red being the way to go but for el naturale cool platinum then i think you are right – it’s the classier option
