It is pretty cool isn’t it. We watch them come past each year. There is a good amount of early bike traffic on the road from 6:30 today as well as people head over for the day/races. During the rides you see some real characters amongst them all and the general good time/holiday vibe of the w/e is a great thing for the Bass coast and Phillip Island in particular.
    cheers,

    • Apart from the horse racing it’d have to be one of the biggest events in Cranbourne and as you say, great for the region. It was good to be able to wander around and speak to a few of the characters about their bikes. One bloke had a chrome skull mounted to the cooling fins on his engine and he turned on the red lights in its eyes for me because he saw i was interested in getting a shot of it – i didn’t have the heart to tell him i had B&W film in my camera…
